LANGLEY

Easter at Aldor Acres ~ April 14-17

Spring has sprung on the farm and the team at Aldor Acres want to share the beauty with you!Flowers are blooming, birds are chirping and babies are bouncing everywhere. Visit with the goats and sheep in the petting zoo, hold a piglet in the barn and cuddle with bunnies in the grass. Maybe even get a chance to bottle feed one of their little lambs. After visiting with all the animals, take a tractor-pulled hayride around the farm to see what is happening at this time of year. Make a day of it and pack a picnic lunch. Or let Aldor Acres take care of lunch – farm fresh sausages, chips, Easter cookies, and hot and cold drinks will be available (CASH ONLY). Admission is $8 per person (anyone of walking age). Farm is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

LAUGHING STOCK RANCH 2nd ANNUAL EASTER EGGSTRAVAGANZA  ~ April 15-17

Unicorn rides and Easter egg hunts and a petting zoo, oh my! Hop on over to the Laughing Stock Ranch at 24555 32nd Ave. in Langley between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. for a day of fun for the whole family. Donations and proceeds go to the LSR Bursary Fund. Admission is $10/child, adults by donation.

Easter Scavenger Hunt and Egg Scramble ~April 16

Calling all little bunnies! Get ready for an all-ages Easter Scavenger Hunt at the Fort Langley National Historic Site. Your mission: Complete the activities of the scavenger hunt and earn chocolate treats. The all-ages scavenger hunt includes fun activities that will take you exploring around the fort and earning chocolate as you go. The scavenger hunt will take place around the grounds within the fort walls and will be available at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. & 3 p.m.

 

Things to do for Easter in the Fraser Valley

Township 7’ 11th Annual Easter Festival & Egg Hunt ~April 16

Pair your Easter chocolates with wine and egg-cellent entertainment at the Township 7’s 11th annual Easter festival. For the children, there will be an egg hunt in the vineyard along with a deluxe petting zoo and live music (bring your own Easter basket). Sample their new releases as well as delicious wares from an onsite food truck, all while the kids frolic in the vineyard! Tickets are $15 per child. BEAR CREEK PARK EASTER TRAIN ~ April 14-17

Decorate your Bunny Ears and get your face painted like an Easter Bunny, then take a train ride into the forest for an Easter egg hunt and a visit with the Easter Bunny. Bear Creek Park is located at 13750 88th Ave. in Surrey. The train runs from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Tix are $10 each.

FARM TOTS: POTTER’S BUNNIES ~ April 6-7

Little bunnies and their parents hop, hop, hop on over to the Historic Stewart Farm, 13723 Crescent Rd. in Surrey to explore Beatrix Potter’s classic tales through rhymes, crafts and the Great Bunny Hop-Off (10:30-11:30 a.m).  Tix are $5, registration required. http://www.surrey.ca/culture-recreation/2882.aspx.

CRITTER CAPERS: THE CASE OF THE LOST BUNNY ~ April 17

A baby bunny is lost in the woods. Use clues to retrace the bunny’s steps and help it find its way home. Allow one hour to complete the case. Meet at  Tynehead Regional Park’s hatchery entrance, Surrey. Event runs from noon-3 p.m..Free, drop in.

ABBOTSFORD

MAAN FARMS EASTER EGGSTRAVAGANZA ~ April 14-17

Want a meet and greet with the Easter bunny himself? He’ll be hopping all over Maan Farms (790 McKenzie Rd. in Abbotsford) this weekend, where an egg hunt, Easter goodie bags, face painting, a petting zoo, biplane, pedal go-karts and much more awaits.
Doors open at 9 a.m.; egg hunts are 11 a.m.-3 p.m.. Admission: $9.50/$8.50.

 

Things to do for Easter in the Fraser Valley

BLOOM: ABBOTSFORD TULIP FESTIVAL ~ April 10 to May 7

If you’re looking for the perfect spot in the Valley to snap some photos of your little ones in their Easter best, the Abbotsford Tulip Festival, located at 36737 North Parallel Road, is the most picture-perfect spot to be.
There are over 10-acres of rainbow-coloured fields featuring more than 2.5 million tulips. Admission: $15/$8.

CHILLIWACK

CHILLIWACK CORN MAZE 5th ANNUAL EASTER EGG HUNT ~ April 14-15

There’s plenty of Easter fun to be had at the Chilliwack Corn Maze, including an egg g hunt in the apple orchard where every child will receive a goodie bag for their efforts. Afterwards, take some selfies with the Easter Bunny, play on the giant jumping pillow, cruise around on the pedal carts, run through the indoor hay bale maze, visit the animals and enjoy crafts and games. The corn maze is located at 41905 Yale Road West in Chilliwack. Cost is $8.50/child.
