My Top 4 Back-to-Organization Hacks from Canadian Tire

With school back in session, I’ve been trying to get and stay more organized. The past couple of months have been pretty laid back, which has led to excessive clutter, disorganization and chaos.

Trying to find that missing shoe or water bottle is not something I want to have to deal with every single morning. With a new season upon us, I’ve been feeling inspired to make some changes to ensure mornings run smoother and I am not such a hot mess momma at school drop off. Okay, I’m sure I’ll be that mom wearing the PJ top under her coat in a couple of months, but maybe just not as frazzled as last year.

Here are my top 4 Back to Organization Hacks.

CANVAS EVELYN 5-Shelf Bookcase

Canadian Tire, $199.99

We recently did some minor renos on our main level, which included changing our paint colours from dark greys to bright taupe and adding crown moulding. There was one corner in our living room that just served as wasted space — but not anymore!

Beyond its practical role — organizing books — this beauty serves as a beautiful display case for our knick knacks, organization baskets and family photos.

The CANVAS Evelyn 5-Shelf Bookcase features a crisp white moisture resistant finish and durable fiberboard construction.

CANVAS Lucy Rectangular Storage Basket

Canadian Tire, $19.99

I really like how these baskets blend in perfectly with our ‘beachy’ décor while providing us with additional storage space. They’re made from hyacinth for a natural, handcrafted look.

Rubbermaid Lunch Block

Canadian Tire, $12.99

It has only been a week since I started using these, but I LOVE how it they have transformed the dreaded school lunch-making experience.

The Blue Ice keeps sandwhiches and dips cool on the go and stacks compactly, while staying organized in their lunch bags.

They’re BPA free, made in the USA and at just $12.99, far more affordable then some of the other bento options out there.

They’re also microwave, dishwasher and freezer safe.

Magic Bullet Single Shot

Canadian Tire, $29.95

I’ve jumped on the low carb bandwagon to ditch the s’mores weight, which means lots of smoothies in my forseeale future this fall.

We keep it handy on our countertop to quicly make our favourite meals and snacks, including homemade healthy soups and sauces. It also chops, grates, blends, whips and grinds in seconds. It’s dishwasher safe (an absolute essential) and is BPA safe.

With these 4 organization hacks from Canadian Tire, I’m looking forward to a smooth school-year ahead… heck, maybe even some extra time to drink my coffee while it’s still hot in the morning. A Valley gal can dream, right?
